Hunting in Mozambique

We hunt several concessions in Mozambique, these areas vary between 75,000 – 822,000 acres.  These areas are situated in vast unspoilt wilderness areas in the Niassa, Sofala, Tete and Gaza provinces respectively.  Here where animals like elephant, buffalo, sable, lion, leopard, hippo and crocs are plentiful. This is how Africa was decades ago.

Accommodations are traditional Mozambique safari style chalets.  The camps are equipped with  running water, flush toilets and electricity supplied by a generator. A full time cook and camp staff will see to all your needs.

What you need to know about Mozambique?

• You do need a Visa to enter Mozambique which can be obtained at the border post entering Mozambique.
• Mozambique is a malaria area so the necessary precautions must be taken.
• Mozambique is politically very stabile and the game numbers are rapidly increasing therefore hunters are very welcome, for they supply meat and much needed foreign currency.
• Getting to some areas require a charter flight.

Daily Rates (Per person per day)

Daily rates include:

• Services of a licensed Professional Hunter, trained skinner and tracker, Hunting vehicle.
• Full accommodation, meals and local beverages (alcohol included) within the hunting area during your safari.
• Daily laundry except on Sundays.
• Transportation within the hunting area.
• Field preparation of trophies.

Daily rates exclude:

• Trophy fees.
• Rifle import/export permit @ $300 per rifle
• Hunting card @ $350 per hunter.
• Transportation from Jhb Intl’ Airport to hunting area or charter flights if required.
• Extra costs on sightseeing trips.
• Hotel costs before/during/after the hunt.
• Hire of arms and ammunition.
• Packing, dipping and shipping of trophies from Mozambique to South Africa to Country

of Residence and taxidermy fees.
• Gratuities to PH & other staff.
